Think Tank: Innovative solutions for everyday problems. An outside look at problematic situations combined with in depth research (including but not limited to economic models, sociolgical influences, and the limits of technology) and multiple courses of action combined with a cost-benefit analysis is why these ideas will soon be known as "The Easy Way Out". Some ideas have already resulted in patenable products that will be revealed later in 2010.

Writing: For any person or organization who needs technical articles, historical perspectives, comedy/tv sketches or speeches, they need look no further than this site. • Travel: Until humans can teleport themselves around the world, going places is going to take time and money. This would be a large part of the fee for a long distance project that simply cannot be done via phone calls and or emails.
• Lodging: Again, only for multiple day events.
• Supplies: Simple things such as memory cards and digital video tapes. Anything like gas would go under the travel category.
• Shipping: Only if I have to send something to you.
• Outside contractors: I don't own a mass printing press but if you want several thousand runs of a certain flyer, I'll work with you to find a suitable printer who offers high quality work and reasonable prices. The same concept holds with anything that I cannot directly do myself.
• Hourly Wage: This is highly variable. There are shoots where I have not charged a fee for my own service since it was for charity. Depending on what service I am providing, the rate is based on the client's local average cost for a similar service. I refuse to pad the times and add in extra costs where there shouldn't be any. Trust me, I'd make a horrible Bernie Madoff.
• Local Taxes: Due to the variety of serivces offered, this is more important than some would think. I make sure all state and local taxes are covered before anything is done so neither you or I will have a visit from the other men in suits (IRS).

All this may look daunting but it's really not. Consider that I'm telling you all the possible fees up front as a worst case scenario, that you'd own full rights to use the resulting work however you want (you can even request total privacy of images, soundtracks, etc where they would not be posted in my online portfolio) and that you'd be working with a guy who's pretty happy even on a bad day and it's clear that you'll get the most for your money with Semper Apollo. So if you need something, say something!
